Nate S Since seeing this as a kid, I have considered this the greatest movie ever made. Schindler's list makes the holocaust visual. This movie does the same with the true story of Corrie Ten Boom, but what sets this movie apart from other great holocaust movies, is how this one gives the answers to the issues raised by the holocaust. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/15/23 Full Review Audience Member The movie shows how Hitler systematically killed Jews in the Holocaust by separating them from the rest of German society." Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member A great movie adaptation of a event that truly happened to Corrie ten Boom. Amazingly well made movie, that makes you cry at the nazis' brutality. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Steller film. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE! It's the finest and the best in film and a life changing experience that so many have turned into a play, a musical, and a sequel film. This changed my life for eternity! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Great movie but sad why do people want to believe in something that does evil. My grand uncle escaped with his mom his dad died in the camps. It seems to correct, stop, & end a monster you have to become a monster. Look how many disabled American & veterans have died from not receiving correct medical care in present day over the last 30 years! Millions and if we complained in the past we would be retaliated against! Corrie Ten Boom must have been a wonderful human being. When she died in 1983 I was driving a heavy truck over the road witnessing & experiencing so much violence. Women that worked were attacked by men & they thought they could do anything and get away with it! All my injuries have been carried out by evil men & some women Corrie is a better person than me I can't forget and I will not forgive I don't believe in a god that does violent abuse, intentionally cause great suffering & lethal harm!!! We could never get legal help! 58 years old all these years so much abuse from men it never stopped always in some way! After being abused violently, kidnapped, intentionally orchestrating destruction, and orchestrating medical life-long suffering on purpose hate feels pure they were never held accountable!!! My grand uncle was a better person than I, he played the piano to soothe the suffering while he was in the camp they broke his fingers & hands! After escaping coming to America he got better & continued to play! He taught & played in churches he forgave. I will not evil has gone on for too long, did too much, and went too far!!! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Possibly the best faith based film ever made. "The Hiding Place" is a profound, intelligent and beautiful film.
