About the apartment: The apartment is a 2 Bedroom, 1 Bath. It has vaulted 11 foot high ceilings. The living room, kitchen, and bathroom are shared spaces, all furnished/fully equipped. The living room contains a 7 seater couch, a Sony 65" curved 4K TV, home theater setup, and pop up coffee table. The kitchen is equipped with Viking appliances: a largefridge that has its own cooled filter water dispenser and ice maker, open gas range, convection oven, etc. I also have a dining table set up that fits 6 and can expand to fit 8. It is a smart home that is set up with smart dim-able recessed lighting and Nest Home thermostats, all voice-linked to Alexa. The bathroom is equipped with a rain shower with a detachable head, and a Toto Bidet that is heated, washes, and dries. We have Honest Internet 2 GB download + upload internet speed that is split monthly. All other utilities except electricity are included. There is a washer/dryer and dishwasher in unit.
About the Bedroom: The master bedroom is a massive ~250 sqft. It has TWO WALK IN CLOSETS, one large enough to rival some bedrooms in NYC. It will come FULLY FURNISHED with a queen bed frame, a queen 15" memory foam mattress, desk, TV stand (large enough to fit the current 75" TV, that will not remain), convertible futon couch, pop-up coffee table, rug, side cabinet, and nightstand. Basically everything you see in the picture besides the electronics and bed sheets/pillows. It has its own Nest Thermostat for the room, with heating/cooling and smart dim-able lighting system. You will basically have your own studio sized bedroom, and still have a shared living room, dining area, kitchen, and bathroom at half the price of current market rate 1-bedrooms in the area.
About the building: It is a luxury condo building. It is equipped with a state of the art Gym, Yoga/Theater room, Ping Pong Table, Pool Table/lounge area, a sauna, and a massive finished rooftop with several BBQ grills/sundeck/dining tables with unparalleled views of the city skyline and waterfront. We have a 24/7 doorman/front desk/concierge service. All packages can be picked up with the front desk secured in an attended package room and even has cold storage for grocery delivery.
About the Area: Located in the highly coveted Hunters Point Area in Long Island City. Very safe, family friendly, and beautiful. Not to mention, extremely convenient. We are one block away from the Vernon-Jackson 7 train stop, which is one stop away from the city, Midtown (Grand Central), about an 8 minute commute door to door. We are also one block away from the LIC waterfront, and Vernon Boulevard with all the restaurants, shops, bars, and Cafes. There is an Urban Market Grocery store and CVS literally right around the corner. There is both free parking and metered parking throughout the area. I drive everyday and park on the street without much of an issue. The building has a detached garage if you prefer indoor parking for around $400/month or a daily fee. Couldn't ask for a better location in Long Island City. Further down by Court Square, you also have the E ,G, and M trains as well.
About Roommate: You will be living with the current roommate, Female (30), Asian-American, and works as a personal trainer at Equinox. She is very friendly, respectful, and outgoing. She likes cooking and splits her leisure time either going out, in her room, or in the living room. More can be shared during the visit if interested.
About You: Ideally around the same age, from mid-20's to mid-30's. Must be working or international students (graduate/masters only) who are either able to provide full payments upfront or provide a guarantor. Gender doesn't matter as long as you are clean, neat, and respectful as well. Will need to pitch in with normal chores (trash duty, doing your own dishes in a timely manner, cleaning the kitchen/floors/bathroom, etc. or you can pitch in for a cleaning service), and will also be splitting common supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, etc.). Preferably a non-smoker, but even if you are, you have to smoke outside the building area anyways. Building Rule.
Will need to sign the lease for a minimum of a year, but after the first year, can stay on a month to month basis. Available September 16th.
