I’m really excited to share the journey of TexAu with you all. We launched our first version back in 2020, and the response was amazing right from the start. Hundreds of you signed up in just the first month, and that early enthusiasm was incredibly motivating. It felt like we were really onto something, especially given the lack of similar data-driven products on the market at the time.
But, as with any venture, we hit some rough patches. Despite attracting over 20,000 signups and converting more than 3,000 of you into paying customers in the first two years, we struggled to keep everyone around. The product didn’t perform as we had hoped, which led to a high churn rate. On top of that, the competition really started to heat up, which just added to the challenges.
We had to take a step back and acknowledge that a great concept isn’t enough without solid execution, effective marketing, and strong sales strategies. We paused all our marketing and sales activities to really focus on the core issues—improving the user experience and making sure the product could scale.
Dedicated to making TexAu better, we spent over two years reworking all our automations, diving deep into the intricacies of social media, learning from how other platforms handle things like scheduling and managing webhooks, and constantly updating our features to keep up with changes on third-party websites. We even revamped our UI after interviewing hundreds of users to make sure everything was just right.
Now, after more than two years of hard work and an investment of over $400,000, I’m thrilled to announce TexAu V2. It’s a product very close to my heart, and despite some suggestions to pivot to other projects, the early traction and unique position of our tool in the market convinced me to push through.
I have to be honest, though—the journey to this point hasn’t been easy. These last couple of years have been tough personally. Wife’s surgery and my dad's intense battle with cancer, which he sadly lost on March 23, 2024. These personal challenges forced me to prioritize my life and family, and I had to move closer to them for support while continuing to work on TexAu.
I’m not sharing this for sympathy, but rather to give you some context about the delays. It’s been a hard road, but I’m committed to our vision and to all of you. We’re moving forward with the launch of TexAu V2, and I’m more focused than ever.
New TexAu V2 is built with pure passion and our love for data. I want to thank Arman, Prathmesh, Govind, Riya, and all our 20+ team members who spent countless hours making this happen.
I am also very thankful to all our early adopters and beta users who believed in us and helped shape our roadmap.

Here’s a sneak peek at what you can expect with TexAu V2:
Automations are now 5X faster.
There’s a brand-new workflow builder with fresh operations and integrations.
We’ve added a desktop app that acts as a proxy and can run automations locally.
You’ll see new features like workspaces, magic links, 2-way sync integrations, and public scrapers.
And there’s much more, including a new data enrichment model and a collaboration feature within workspaces.
What happens next?
You can continue to use TexAu V1 until the end of July 31st. On August 1st, we're transitioning to TexAu V2. From this date, TexAu V1 will switch to a view-only platform where you can still access and view your existing automations and data, but no new actions can be taken.
When you sign up for TexAu V2, we'll automatically migrate your plan. Unfortunately, all users need to sign up again due to significant infrastructure changes. We understand this might be inconvenient, but it’s essential for enhancing security and improving your experience on our platform. We highly recommend completing your signup by July 31st to avoid any last-minute rush—it just takes 5 minutes.
Starting August 1st, the new TexAu website and platform will become the primary hub for all users, using the current URLs.

What happens if I don’t migrate before July 31st?
If you don't migrate by July 31st, don't worry—your account and plans will remain secure on TexAu V1. You can sign up for TexAu V2 whenever you're ready, and we will seamlessly transition your account and plan.
